maybe i should stop this. i can't think of particulars haha. but anyway i'll try my best to enumerate all the awesome movies i know. *no particular order
Pinoy movies
- Magnifico. This is the epitome of what pinoy filmmakers ought to be doing, not the flimsy, shallow and PREDICTABLE love stories(with trailers so long you already know the entire plot), not the superhero movies with mediocre visual effects(not to mention mediocre costumes) all with the same stupid plot (superhero is an ugly man whose head over heels inlove with this girl. then she gets into trouble, then he saves him as a man in spandex who can fly, bursting with machismo, then they kiss, then the story ends), and most importantly, not the annoying horror movies with the same people casted as the mumus over and over and over... Magnifico is simple, riveting and touching, reflective of pinoy traditions and culture.
- Hiling and Princess Sarah. as a kid, these are two of the movies i'd watch over and over. ahh i have no idea why the usual pinoy movie is degrading (as technology should've been making it more easier)
so it's hard to actually think of pinoy movies i liked, so let's proceed to some international ones. being the couch potato that i am, i may not mention everything i want(sometimes remembering the titles gets tiresome and sooo i'd try to mention only a few. plus i need to get some sleep :)
