tumblr vs blogger

so i activated two virtual blogs yesterday -- tumblr and blogger. my previous one in multiply(still has a nice interface), which is a disaster, (since most of my posts are senseless, irrational rants and bitching) is retired. i'm ready to take out my virtual alter ego (still ranting and bitching but more nicer i guess) to the world :D

COMPARISON OF ALTERNATIVES
(*due to too much technical writing, sorry)

I-Tumblr
tumblr aint that bad. almost 30% of my bookmarks consist of funny/witty/interesting tumblr accounts. i remember my first time i had more than fifty tabs open! would've thought one-liners on good photos/funny doodles would do such hypnotizing to someone like me (senseless stuff bores me bigtime) awful magic. too time consuming. i almost had heart attack when i saw a post reaching tens to hundreds of thousands of notes. i was bothered by the amount of giveaways being uh-given away by these bloggers. mindblowing. A CAMERA? FROM 16 year olds? to reach a fair amount of followers? i don't get it, (im in college and mom still wont buy me a camera) especially when all you do is reblog a bunch of photos (sometimes not even putting a caption.) but oh well- i have my eccentricities too..

ah. there it is! found a tumblr hater, he's a web developer, so the technical stuff i have no intention of wasting my time explaining, here it is: http://zachinglis.com/2010/why-tumblr-sucks/

II-blogger
Darn google. you creative monster. Blogger actually works real good! interface is clean although i'm pretty much bothered by orange and blue. i'm loving this blog soooo..

i choose to continue this one, bloggeryou won :)

*ps
i got a lot of typo/grammar bashing the last time i blogged so extend your patience in reading my blog as i do not have the time to reread my posts. i think of something, i write continuously. plus pressing shift every single time irritates the hell out of me. blogger develop autocorrect please. i want my "i"'s capitalized.
